Japan Cosplay Costume

Cosplay is not limited to dress in costumes from popular television programs. Cosplay is also seen in traditional Japanese culture and fashion.

Coming of age ceremonies were held in Japan at least since the year 714, when a young prince has new clothes and a hairstyle to mark their passage into adulthood. The official holiday was first established in 1948, which is celebrated each year on January 15. In 2000, as a result of system success, on Monday the day of the coming of age is held the second Monday changed in January.

Many women celebrate this day with the use of Furisode (a long-sleeved kimono hanging) and Zori sandals. Since most are not able to put on a kimono by themselves due to the complexity of a process of preparation, many choose to visit a salon to have her dress and hair. A complete set of formal clothing is quite expensive, so usually taken from a familiar place you bought or rented for the occasion. Men sometimes wear traditional costumes (for example, hakama kimono with black), but in modern times many men formal wear Western clothes, like a suit and tie, more often than a traditional costume.

The street fashion among Japanese women is the smoky eye look. It is a sensual and sexy look that is easy to achieve and that generates outstanding results. The smoky eye look has been called the little black dress of makeup, which is always elegant. Smoky eyes are perfect anywhere, anytime because the makeup is needed is not excessive and adds a bit of mystery and enchantment to look for a woman. The smoky eye makeup is also useful for cosplay vampire.

Fantasy and science fiction characters have become very popular cosplay costumes. The characters of Star Wars Trek, Star and the series of Harry Potter are some of the most popular non-manga characters for cosplay events presented. Drawings of anime like Naruto, Bleach and Final Fantasy, as well as video games and computers are also characters that became popular in cosplay costumes. Akatsuki and Organization XIII costumes as well as the ever popular Shinra costumes were common at conventions. Outside the convention, cosplay costumes are the most popular costumes and school girl uniforms clean.
